When your sale completes before your onward purchase does, or the other way round, the practical question is where your furniture goes for the gap in between. We collect from your current address, blanket-wrap and seal everything into your own 250 cu ft wooden container — roughly a one-bedroom flat’s worth of furniture and 30–40 standard boxes — and hold it in our alarmed, 24/7 CCTV warehouse near Ashington. You never visit a unit or manage the storage yourself; when you’re ready, we redeliver on 24 hours’ notice.

We’ve been doing this since 2016, most often for people caught in a chain break, waiting on a completion date that keeps slipping, or clearing a house mid-renovation so the trades have a clear run. None of those situations sit on a fixed calendar, which is why your container stays yours for as long as the gap lasts rather than a set contract length.

Storage plus insurance runs at £21 a week per container; collection and redelivery are quoted separately once we know your volume and distance, so get both figures before you fix a moving date.
